Being able to self-manage diabetes is important, and can be made easier with the right tools. Below are direct links to some devices that are designed to help monitor blood glucose activity:
- Accu-Chek Aviva (at Accu-chek Canada) is an easy-to-use blood glucose monitor that helps manage diabetes. For more information about this meter, you can call Accu-Chek Canada directly at 1-800-688-4578.
- Some blood glucose meters, such as the Contour NEXT One (at Diabetes Express Pharmacy), can wirelessly connect with a smartphone application so that you can easily watch your blood glucose results. The app organizes your results to help you understand when your blood glucose spikes or drops.
- The Dario All-in-One Smart Meter (at Dario Health) plugs into the headphone socket of iPhone, Android or iPad devices and automatically logs and tracks blood sugar levels.
